Who Is Jesus?

“Jesus is the exact representation
of the Father’s nature. Jesus and
God are one. He is eternally existent
and part of the Godhead. He is God’s
Son in position. He came in the flesh,
born of a virgin, dwelt among us, and
became the bearer of our sins taking the
punishment as declared by God’s Law.
He presently resides in Heaven at the right
hand of God advocating for those who have
believed upon Him as Lord and Savior.”

Much can be said about who Jesus Christ is! The Apostle John declares that the world could not contain all the books that could be written on Him.

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the Lamb of God who laid His life down as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. On the third day after His death and burial, He was raised again to life. His resurrection was witnessed by several hundred people. His birth, death and resurrection are historical fact.

Jesus was born in the flesh of the virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit as father. He is therefore, fully-God and fully-man. Jesus has been given all authority on heaven and earth. He is the only way to the Father. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Jesus is the “agent of creation”. All things were created through Him, for Him, and by Him (John 1:1-5,9-14; Colossians 1:1-23).
